Cheltenham Town Women are delighted to announce the signing of Georgia Galley.
The striker joins the Robinesses having most recently applied her trade at Keynsham Town, playing at Southampton PGA before.
Galley has scored six goals in 19 appearances already this season for Keynsham in the FAWNL Division One South West.
On joining up with Tom Davies’ side, Galley said “I’m looking forward to joining the team, it’s an exciting move for me personally, and I can’t wait to get started and see where we can go from here!
“The opportunity has come at the right time, I feel it’s the perfect time to challenge myself in Tier Three.”
Galley will join the squad ahead of the away meeting with Oxford United this Sunday, and has enjoyed meeting up with her new teammates.
“The girls have all been really welcoming, I’m excited to get to know them all better and be a part of this team going forward.”
On her play style, Galley describes herself as “someone who likes to be direct and creative where I can, and I’ll always give my all for the team.”
Galley joins Poppy Irvine as the new arrivals in the squad in the month of January and will take the number 23 shirt!
