Cheltenham Town Women face Hashtag United away from home as focus returns to league action on Sunday.
Tom Davies’ side will be looking to bounce back immediately after a 3-1 loss against Swindon Town knocked the side out of the FAWNL Cup last Sunday.
Bella Hall’s early opener was ruled out by goals from Annie Coulston and Libby Davies.
However, the Robinesses are still unbeaten in their last three league games, winning against the likes of AFC Wimbledon and Lewes, and grabbing a point in Cardiff against Gwalia United.
This leaves the side sat fifth in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division after playing nine games.
Sunday’s opposition, however, won’t be an easy test, Hashtag coming into this game on the back of back-to-back wins.
A 7-0 win over Billericay Town at home was followed up with an impressive 2-0 away winagainst Real Bedford.
In last season’s meetings between the two teams, the Tags took all three points in a 3-1 win at home, however, Cheltenham held the side to a 1-1 draw at Kayte Lane.
