Cheltenham Town Women host Birmingham City Women U21’s at Evesham United’s The Spiers and Hartwell Stadium on Sunday (2 pm) as focus returns to the FA WNL League Cup.
The new format sees teams placed into groups, with Cheltenham drawn in Group F alongside Worcester City, Kidderminster Harriers and Birmingham City Under-21s.
The Robinesses are looking to make it two wins from two in the group after a Thursday night victory over Worcester City in August.
A brace from the captain, Emily Owen, secured the midweek victory and marked the start of the three consecutive wins for Tom Davies’ side, following a 4-1 win away against Real Bedford and a 1-0 win over Oxford United last weekend. This is the first time the side has won three of the opening games for six years.
However, the Blues will prove no easy feat, having held their own against Kidderminster Harriers in a 2-2 draw in their opening group game. However, in their PGA Games, Birmingham are yet to pick up points, after losing to Durham and Sheffield United 4-0 and 3-1 respectively.
Tickets are £6 for adults and £1 for Under 18s. Cheltenham fans can book their tickets in advance HERE, whilst visiting Birmingham City fans can purchase their tickets in advance Here.
For supporters unable to attend tonight’s game, updates will be provided on the club’s X (formerly Twitter) page as well as on Instagram.
