PREVIEW: Forest Green Rovers (H)

Cheltenham Town Women host Forest Green Rovers tonight (March 13, 7:45pm) in their penultimate home game of the season as they look to book their place in the final of the Gloucestershire FA County Cup.

Tom Davies’ side progressed to this stage with 1-0 and 11-0 victories over Bristol Rovers and Pucklechurch Sports Ladies.

Tonight’s opposition, FGR, currently play in the Regen Arable South West Regional Women’s Football League, the same division as Pucklechurch. Rovers currently sit fourth in their league with 29 points.

Former Robinesses, Lousie Fensome’s side come into the semi-final off the back of a 3-1 defeat on Sunday to league leaders Marine Academy Plymouth Ladies.

The Robinesses also come into the game off the back of a 3-1 defeat. They fell to their league leaders Hashtag United on Sunday, with the Tags coming from a goal down after Henna Butcher gave Cheltenham a first half lead.

The fixture continues a busy schedule for Tom Davies’ side with the rearranged trip to AFC Wimbledon on Sunday, before travelling to Exeter. March ends with the final home game of the season against Lewes.
