Cheltenham Town Women host Plymouth Argyle at Kayte Lane on Sunday afternoon (14:00 kick-off).
After a 2-2 draw last weekend on home soil against Hashtag United, Tom Davies and his side are looking to pick up a crucial first win of the season in the Southern Premier Division.
Opponents Argyle have won two of their three FAWNL Cup games, winning 1-0 over Torquay United and a 2-1 win over Marine Academy Plymouth, which will see them face Arsenal PGA in the First Round of the competition, after finishing second in Group A.
However, it’s not been the same story in the league for Matt Green’s side so far, as they find themselves bottom on 0 points after six games played.
As for Cheltenham, two high-scoring draws against Exeter City and the aforementioned Hashtag leave the side 11th, on two points, with a narrow two-point gap to Swindon Town, who sit just above the relegation zone.
The Robinesses are also through to the First Round of the cup after going unbeaten against Tier Four sides Gwalia United, Worcester City and Kidderminster Harriers, and are set to host Bristol City PGA at Kayte Lane next month.
Last season, Plymouth picked up all six points against Cheltenham, winning 2-0 at Kayte Lane, and 3-0 at Home Park in March, courtesy of goals from Olivia Francis, Ellie Noble and Paris Dalton.
Tickets are £7.50 for adults, £5 for Students (valid student ID required at the gate), £1 for Under-18s and £15 for a Family (2 Adults and up to 4 U18s), whilst Cheltenham Town FC Season Ticket holders and Robins Trust members all receive complimentary entry.
