Cheltenham Town Women return to league action this Sunday against Exeter City at Kayte Lane (2 pm kick-off).
Cheltenham are looking to make it two wins on the bounce after registering the first win of the season in last weekend’s 4-3 win over Worcester City in the FAWNL Cup.
However, Tom Davies and his side are under no illusion this will be an easy task, with Abbie Britton’s side picking up four points from their opening three games, leaving them fifth in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division table.
After a heavy opening day defeat to league leaders Oxford United, the Grecians have bounced back and are undefeated in four games in all competitions.
A 1-1 draw against Hashtag United was followed up by a 3-1 win over Lewes, whilst Britton’s side have also registered two wins from two in the FAWNL Cup Group Stages, with a 3-1 win over Bristol City PGA and a 4-3 win last weekend against Tier Four side Bristol Rovers.
Last season, whilst the Grecians picked up three points at Kayte Lane in a 2-0 win on the opening weekend, Cheltenham produced their second-highest win of the season in a 4-0 win at Coach Road thanks to goals from Una Lue and Bella Hall before the Christmas break.
Tickets are £7.50 for adults, £5 for Students (valid student ID required at the gate), £1 for Under-18s and £15 for a Family (2 Adults and up to 4 U18s), whilst Cheltenham Town FC Season Ticket holders and Robins Trust members all receive complimentary entry.
