Alex Hall Joins Cheltenham Town Women

August 10, 2026

Cheltenham Town Women are excited to announce the signing of midfielder Alex Hall.

The 19-year-old joins the club following her departure from WSL side Birmingham City.

Much like teammates Kaitlyn Hicks-Kenward and Lily Felgate, Hall was part of Birmingham’s back-to-back Under-21s Plate wins, featuring in the 4-3 win against Leicester City in 2024/25, but unfortunately missed out on the comeback win against Brighton and Hove Albion in last season’s final due to injury.

The teenager was also involved in the women’s first-team set-up and made the bench twice in WSL2 games against Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.

On moving to the club, Hall said: “It feels great to join the club. It’s very nerve-racking, but it’s been a great start. The first couple of sessions that I have been here have been good, and the girls are all lovely.”

On making the step-up to women’s football, Hall claimed: “I feel stronger than ever now, and I think I am ready for the next challenge. I’m hoping to gain some clean sheets as a backline, finish somewhere good in the league and get some minutes.”

The 19-year-old will also join the likes of Ruby Day, Shurima Vine and Kiera O’Keefe, who have all linked up with the squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, which kicks off next weekend.

Welcome to Cheltenham, Alex!
