Cheltenham Town Women are delighted to announce the signing of forward Millie Pullen.
The 20-year-old joins the club on a permanent deal from West Bromwich Albion, after leaving the club last month. Formerly of Birmingham City, she originally joined the Baggies on loan from Birmingham, before rejoining the club permanently last summer.
Despite her young age, Pullen made her senior team debut for Blues in a 4-0 win over Reading during the 2023/24 season. During last season’s Under-21’s plate final, which also featured fellow Robiness Poppy Irvine, the 20-year-old was named player of the match after scoring twice and providing two assists in a thrilling 4–3 win against Leicester City Under-21’s.
This season she made 11 appearances for the Albion, including five in the FAWNL Northern Premier Division.
As well as featuring for Birmingham, Pullen has also played for Manchester City and the Republic of Ireland at youth level.
On joining the club, the young forward said: “I’m really pleased. I think it’s an opportunity for me to play and get some good minutes from now till the end of the season, and show the league, as well as everyone else what I can do.
“I’m really excited. I know I bring a lot of energy in the front line. I’ll always work hard to help the team and we’ll get some decent results.”
On linking back up with goalkeeper Irvine, Pullen claimed: “It’s always nice when you come to a new club and there’s someone you know. It just makes it easier to settle in.”
