Preview: Hashtag United (H)

October 2, 2026

Cheltenham Town Women play host to Hashtag United on Sunday at Kayte Lane (14.00pm kick-off) as focus returns to league action.

After a dominant 5-1 win in the FAWNL Cup against Kidderminster Harriers last weekend, Cheltenham are looking to pick up an important three points in the Southern Premier Division against a managerless Hashtag side.

However, the Tags got off to a winning start under interim manager and head of football Jay Devereux last time out, beating London City Lionesses U21’s 2-0 on home soil, a result which saw them finish top of Group I on nine points.

On top of this, Dom Edwards’ last game in charge saw the side pick up their first league win of the season, beating Swindon Town 4-2, meaning Hashtag have won both of their last two games in all competitions.

As for Cheltenham, two wins and one draw in the FAWNL Cup saw Tom Davies’ side go unbeaten and finish top of Group C, whilst an exciting 4-4 draw with Exeter City three weeks ago meant the side picked up their first league point of the season.

Last season, the Tags picked up two narrow wins against the Robinesses, winning 1-0 at home courtesy of Honor Norton’s strike, and picking up a 2-1 away win at Kayte Lane, with goals from Renee Johnson and Isabelle Tomlin ruling out Indie Power’s then-equaliser.

Tickets are £7.50 for adults, £5 for Students (valid student ID required at the gate), £1 for Under-18s and £15 for a Family (2 Adults and up to 4 U18s), whilst Cheltenham Town FC Season Ticket holders and Robins Trust members all receive complimentary entry.
