Cheltenham Town Women welcome Worcester City Women to Kayte Lane this afternoon for the second game of the FA Women’s National League Cup group stage.
Tom Davies and his side will be looking to rebound following last week’s 0-5 defeat to league leaders, Oxford United.
The Robinesses began their Cup campaign against Gwalia United, who currently compete one tier below Cheltenham in the FA Women’s National League Division One. The two sides ran out a deadlocked 1-1 draw in a competitive match.
As Worcester also find themselves stepping up to face Tier Three opposition, Cheltenham will be looking to make home advantage count and add to their single point so far in Group C.
After a challenging previous weekend, today’s fixture provides Davies and his side with another opportunity to build momentum ahead of next weekend’s return to league action against Exeter City Women.
Tickets are £7.50 for adults, £5 for Students (valid student ID required at the gate), £1 for Under-18s and £15 for a Family (2 Adults and up to 4 U18s), whilst Cheltenham Town FC Season Ticket holders and Robins Trust members all receive complimentary entry. Robinesses fans can buy their tickets HERE, whilst travelling Worcester City fans can purchase tickets here.
Information on travel to Kayte Lane (GL52 3PD) can be found here.
For supporters unable to attend, live action updates on the club’s X account (formerly Twitter) as well as Instagram are available.
