First Half:

Lewes opened the scoreline early in controversial fashion, Paula Howells’ scuffed shot falling to Lane, who tapped the ball in, despite looking obviously offside.

The hosts doubled their lead on the 20th-minute mark, Schreimaier’s curling effort unsavable and into the top right-hand corner.

It wasn’t long before the Rooks added a third, Carpenter finishing at the back post.

Cheltenham applied a bit of pressure on the Lewes goal before half-time, Amelie Curtis and Indie Power having efforts off target, before Bella Hall almost got on the end of Libby Bell’s long ball.

However, Lewes added a fourth in additional time, Trewitt able to capitalise after Lane ran down on goal.

It ended 4-0 to the Rooks at the break.

Second Half:

It didn’t take Emma Byrne’s side long to add a fifth, substitute Ferguson slotting home from close range.

After a break in play for players to receive treatment, Lewes through they added a sixth, but it was ruled out for offside.

However, the Rooks added their sixth a mere minute later, Kayla Ginger able to covert from a low cross.

Courtney Jones had a chance to pull one back towards the latter stages of the second half, her half volley bobbling narrowly wide.

Some good passing play between Indie Power and Anna Draper saw Power whip a ball into the area, however, Issy Newns was unable to get on the end of it before the ball was cleared away.

It ended 6-0 to the Rooks at full-time.
