Cheltenham Town Women are excited to announce the signing of striker Indie Power.
Power joins the club on a loan from WSL2 side Bristol City, where she has featured regularly for their PGA side this season.
The 18-year-old joined the Bristol-based side in the summer from WSL side Chelsea, where she spent two seasons in their academy, one playing for the under-16’s, and another playing for the under-21’s.
Featuring for Bristol City’s PGA side in both the FAWNL Cup Group stage and then the FAWNL Plate, Power netted one goal in two substitute appearances, scoring in their 3-0 win over Keynsham Town earlier this season.
On linking up with the squad, Power said: “It’s been really good, the squad have all made me feel really comfortable, so I’m settling in nicely.
“The side are doing really well, being in the training sessions, they’ve got a really highstandards and are good quality, so it’s been really good so far.”
Coming through the ranks at Chelsea, and now Bristol City, Power reflected on her experiences at both clubs and the step up to women’s football.
“It’s shaped me a lot. I’ve definitely learnt a lot, the ups and downs, and that’s important as it’s shaped me as a player. I’m very excited to make the jump to tier three. It’s a big jump, but it should be good.”
On what to expect from her as a player, Power stated: “I’d say I’m fast, I like to threaten in behind a lot, spinning on players.”
Power joins both goalkeeper Poppy Irvine and striker Georgia Galley as new faces added into the squad in 2026.
Welcome to Cheltenham, Indie!
