Cheltenham Town Women play host to Southampton Under-21’s at Kayte Lane on Sunday (2pm) in the first round of the FAWNL Cup.
The Robinesses are looking to continue their great form in this competition, after coming top of Group F, and winning all three group games.
A 2-0 win at home to Worcester City was followed with an emphatic 4-0 win against Birmingham Under-21’s and an impressive 5-1 win away against Kidderminster Harriers.
Tom Davies’ side will be looking to make it two wins on the spin in all competitions after a crucial 2-1 win away at AFC Wimbledon last weekend.
Goals from Meg Arnott and Bella Hall were enough to come away with all three points at Tooting and Mitcham United.
As for the opposition, they finished second respectively in Group B, winning 3-0 and 2-0 comfortably against Portishead Town and Abington Town.
Their only defeat came at the hands of league rivals Exeter, who beat Ben Cole’s young side 5-2.
