Cheltenham Town Women make the trip South on Sunday (2 pm kick-off) to face top of the league side, AFC Bournemouth Women.
After suffering a 4-3 loss at home to Watford Women last weekend, Tom Davies’ side will be looking to rectify their mistakes and make it two wins out of two on the road this season.
Goals from Emily Owen, Bella Hall, and Casi Evans last weekend weren’t enough to salvage a draw, despite coming from behind to level the game three times.
However, opponents AFC Bournemouth will not be an easy task by any means, the newly promoted side still unbeaten in all competitions this season and come into this game on the back of a 3-0 away win against Gwalia United.
Manager Helen Bleazard has been nominated for FAWNL manager of the month and has just been appointed the club’s manager permanently, having been with the club on an interim basis.
Her side has only dropped points at home to Exeter City this season, rescuing a point in a 1-1 draw thanks to a late goal from Jenna Markham.
This leaves them top of the pile after four games played, level on points with last weekend’s opponents, Watford.
For supporters unable to attend Sunday’s game, updates will be provided on the club’s X (formerly Twitter) page as well as on Instagram.
