Cheltenham Town Women host Worcester City tonight in their first game in the re-formatted FAWNL Cup.
The new format sees FAWNL teams placed into groups, with Cheltenham placed into Group F alongside Worcester City, Kidderminster Harriers and Birmingham City Under-21s.
Tom Davies’ side fell to a 2-0 defeat to Exeter City on Sunday, despite being competitive and causing problems for the away side.
As for tonight’s opposition, they also started their league campaign with a defeat, losing 3-1 to Barnsley Women.
The two teams also met last season in the FAWNL Cup, in last year’s determining round, a game which Worcester won 1-0 and saw Cheltenham fall into the Plate competition.
This led to Cheltenham’s run to the Plate Final, which ended in a 3-1 defeat to AFC Bournemouth.
