Robinesses Resign Amelie Curtis On A Permanent Deal

August 13, 2025

Cheltenham Town Women have confirmed the permanent signing of Amelie Curtis, after her loan spell at the end of last season.

Curtis joined the club on a dual registration from Bristol City in February, but has now made the move permanent.

“I’m super excited to be back. This year, for me personally, is all about playing football at the highest level I can.

“I’m looking to learn from more experienced players this year and just be the best version of myself.”

On her time with the Robinesses last season, Curtis said, “When I came in last year, I really enjoyed it. The girls have been amazing.

“I think I really grew whilst I was here, and I’m looking to do that and develop more this year.”

Curtis played against Cheltenham in the County Cup final alongside fellow signing Ella Stowell, whilst also playing against another summer signing in Lousie Apuusi in the PGA Academy final.

When asked about some of her fellow signings, Curtis said, “I already knew a few of the girls that have come in, so this year will just be a close-knit group, and I’m excited to get going.”

“I just want to play as much as I can and help the team out and create as many chances and hopefully score some goals too,” Curtis concluded.

The season kicks off at Kayte Lane this Sunday, with Home tickets available to buy HERE.
Exeter City supporters can book their tickets in advance, here.
