Cheltenham Town Women can confirm the signing of Emma Congrave, who rejoins the club having previously been with Cheltenham during their first season in Tier Three.
On joining the Robinesses again, Congrave said “I’m really excited to be back at the club. It’s been nice to be back around Cheltenham and I can’t wait to get going this weekend.”
Congrave has most recently played for Worcester City, but hasn’t seen match action since February 2024 after an ACL injury.
On returning from her injury, the forward said “My main aim for this season is just to be back on the pitch really and get back into the swing of playing football properly again.
“I also just want to compete at the highest standard, and Cheltenham is the right place for me to do that.”
“The club looks to have really progressed since I was last here, they did really well in Tier Three last season, we hope to replicate the success of last year and push ourselves even further.
“It’s a really accomplished side at the moment and I can’t wait to be involved,” Congrave concluded.
